About

This blog exists to share with you my experiences in Africa, as I attempt to live out my faith in a more authentic way.

Walk with me as I learn how to love people more…love with intentional action, not empty words.  I am challenging myself not just to type what sounds good, but words of truth from the heart.

…let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth.  – 1 John 3:18

Because words are necessary for me to communicate across an ocean, my hope is that through these words you may see a little proof of Jesus’ love for the world.

  1. Hey Maegan, I just wanted to say how proud and amazed I am at the work you are doing in the name of Jesus.I read your ” my peace” blog and it really touched my heart and prompted me to be showing love to the people in need around me. You are in Trisha and I’s prayers all the time. I know that sometimes people can be a bit generic when they say they were touched by someones words but truly I felt like that blog was so true and so a wake up call for me. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Gospel. We love you and will keep praying for you
